A-396 Transparent PU TDI Binder
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Duayen A-396 is a solvent free, single component, transparent and UV resistant binder in polyurethane structure. It does not change in volume after curing.
SCOPE OF APPLICATION
In rubber floor pouring systems where UV resistance is required,
Concrete, metal and PVC bonding,
In bonding wooden materials,
It is used for bonding rubber, gasket, felt cork.

APPLICATION
In pouring applications, in order to bind EPDM rubber, SBR rubber, blast granules together with high efficiency, the granules must be clean, free from chemical oils, and thoroughly free from dust and soil. For mixing, mix A-396 Pu to SBR rubber at rates between 20% and 25%. TDI Binder is added and mixed. It is applied by pouring a mixture of binder and rubber on the previously cleaned surface, on which PU binder primer has been applied, and spreading it evenly with the help of a paver or trowel. Final arrangements are made by hand and left to dry. After installing the SBR application, the EPDM application is made with the same system and the application is terminated.
DUAYEN A-396 has a limited time in use. Once this time is exceeded, the mixture becomes a gel and is no longer suitable for use. Therefore, the amount of mixture that should be applied during the potlife period can be used. Potlife varies depending on the amount and temperature of the mixture. A large amount of mixture will increase the temperature, shortening the potlife. Low temperatures prolong the potlife. The product components should not come into contact with moisture during storage and during the application period. Contact with moisture (water vapor) causes the adhesive to foam and weaken the adhesion. For this reason, the packages should be stored properly closed and protected against moisture.
