SC-02 Flammable Floor Primer
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
It is a two-component, epoxy-based primer with high solids content, excellent corrosion resistance, and flame retardant properties thanks to the special additives it contains.

SCOPE OF APPLICATION
It is used as a primer for SC-161 Power Flammable Ship Deck Flooring to protect metal surfaces from mechanical and atmospheric corrosion. Manufactured in accordance with MIL PRF 24667 Type I Composition C.
APPLICATION
Surface Preparation Steel Surfaces:
The application surface must be free from dirt, clean and dry. Oil and grease on the metal surface should be cleaned with the help of detergent or steam, salt and other impurities should be removed with high pressure fresh water. Near-White Metal Blast Cleaning (SSPC-SP10) can be performed for optimum performance. After cleaning, blasting should be done at Sa 2½ level according to ISO 8501-1 standard for best results.
Aluminum Surfaces:
For aluminum and light alloy surfaces, cleaning with solvent according to SSPC-SP 01 and abrasive blasting is done on the surface.
Application Conditions / Limits
Substrate Temperature: Minimum +10°C / Maximum +38°C
Ambient Temperature: Minimum +10°C / Maximum +40°C
Surface Moisture Content: Moisture content < 4% by weight
Relative Humidity: Up to 80%
Dew Point: The surface ground temperature must be at least 3°C above the dew point.
Preparation of the mixture
Component A is mixed in itself, then all the hardener in the small box is poured into the main material and mixed until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. The prepared mixture should be used within 4 hours (23°C) after resting for 2-3 minutes.
Application tools: Brush, roller, Airless spray
Thinner: NO THINNING.
Cleaning: Equipment used with Duayen E-220 Thinner should be cleaned before the paint dries.
