SC-161 Power Ignitable Ship Deck Decking
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
It is a two component, high solids content, resistant to harsh weather conditions, epoxy based non-slip deck coating. Complies with MIL-PRF-24667C Type I Composition G requirements. With the special additives it contains, it ignites power, does not spread flame, does not drip.

SCOPE OF APPLICATION
It is used on ship decks, ramps, offshore platforms, where a durable, non-slip deck coating is needed.
APPLICATION
Surface Preparation
The application surface must be free from dirt, clean and dry. Oil and grease on the metal surface should be cleaned with the help of detergent or steam, salt and other impurities should be removed with high pressure fresh water. After cleaning, blasting should be done at Sa 2½ level according to ISO 8501-1 standard in order to obtain the most appropriate result. At the end of the surface preparation, the surface should be primed with SC-02. SC-02 is designed as a primer for SC-162.
Application Conditions / Limits
Substrate Temperature: Minimum +10°C / Maximum +38°C
Ambient Temperature: Minimum +10°C / Maximum +40°C
Surface Moisture Content: Moisture content < 4% by weight
Relative Humidity: Up to 80%
Dew Point: The surface ground temperature must be at least 3°C above the dew point.
Preparation of the mixture
Component A is mixed until it is homogeneous in itself, then all the hardener in the small box is poured into the main material and mixed until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. After the prepared mixture is rested for 1-2 minutes, it is poured on the appropriately prepared surface and applied with a special roller.
Application tools: Special roller
Thinner: NO THINNING!
Cleaning: Equipment used with Duayen E-220 Thinner should be cleaned before the paint dries.
